Youth Vision 5000
5000 youth discussing their future of Curaçao
A challenge or a nightmare?

Imagine more than 5000 youth talking about their future of our island.  This is an event that will be organized by an organizing committee consisting of representatives of several youth organizations.   Is this a wildly important challenge, or a nightmare?  We hope you would join us and contribute your expertise and experience to make this event a great success, and there by start a movement towards a more prosperous Curaçao.

The Youth Vision 5000 (YV5K) Foundation (i.o) cordially invites you to our second preparation session for the YV5K event.  We want to unite the youth of Curaçao, and stimulate them to envision their own future.  How do you see Curaçao in 20 years?  In what country do you want to live and bring up your children?  During our YV5K event we want every youth to express their own future and their own goals and contribute to creating their country.

The purpose of this Open Space Technology (OST) meeting with about 100 participants, is to create an action plan for the realization of an OST meeting of 5000 youth, between the ages of 14 and 24+, and to build momentum towards that meeting.

In this preparation session, we will use the OST principles.  This is an exciting, modern, and internationally successful way of working in large groups to solve complex problems, and generate innovative solutions in a relatively short time.  If you are interested in more information about Open Space Technology, please visit www.openspacecuracao.com.

Your presence and contribution is much appreciated during
the OST 100 II preparation session on
Saturday April 24th, 2010
At the Curaçao Plaza Hotel, Punda,
from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Please, REGISTER prior to Wednesday April 21st, 2010.  An Open Space Technology meeting is something you have to experience yourself.  Entrance will be free.  We look forward to your presence and active participation.
